RCMP hunting for suspect in Moncton shooting, surrounds building
Police have surrounded a building in Moncton as they continue their search for a heavily armed man who killed three RCMP officers and wounded two in a shootout on Wednesday.
The officers spotted the man Thursday morning, but were unable to apprehend him, CBC News reported.

New prostitution bill looks to protect sex workers and children
The Harper government has tabled a new prostitution bill, Bill C-36.
The new legislation, which was proposed on Wednesday, will crackdown on customers, pimps, and others who gain from sex workers. As well, it will make it illegal for prostitutes to do their business near schools or places where there are a lot of children, The Canadian Press reported. (more…)
